Alan Winters Author, poet and mechanic

Hi, I'm Alan Winters. I was born and raised in Montevideo, Minnesota, and now live in Benson. I'm a retired Army veteran and a small engine mechanic by trade. I used to run my own repair shop, and these days I still enjoy refurbishing outdoor power equipment and selling it from my home shop. When I'm not working with engines, I love spending time outdoors — fishing, camping, swimming, and enjoying time with family. I also have a passion for cooking and baking. Writing has always been a big part of my life. I'm the author of nine books on Kindle, including the poetry collections *Tempest of My Soul* Volumes 1 and 2, *The Book of Resilience*, and *Legacy in Frost and Flame*; the novellas *The Great Minnewaska Ice Fiasco* and *Dana*; and *Legacy of Wrestling's Past, Present & Future Legends*.
